Paint and Win 2026: Celebrating Independence at 80 Through Young Artists

Independence at 80 became more than just a theme—it became an opportunity for young children to express their imagination, creativity, and love for the nation through colours.

The “Paint and Win – 2026” Online Drawing Competition was successfully conducted by Pehechan Stars of Pehechan by Bhabyam, in association with Bhabyam Jewellery, with the aim of encouraging creativity and artistic expression among young children.

A Celebration of Creativity and Independence

The drawing competition was designed especially for children above 3 years and up to 6 years of age, giving kindergarten children a platform to explore their artistic abilities.

The theme of the competition was “Independence at 80”, inspiring little artists to present their own colourful interpretation of India’s journey, freedom, dreams, and future.

The response was truly overwhelming. A total of 147 young participants enthusiastically took part in the competition, making the event a memorable celebration of art, creativity, and patriotism.

Five Schools, One Creative Celebration

The success of Paint and Win – 2026 was made possible with the wholehearted support of five kindergarten and play schools in Bhubaneswar that willingly encouraged their students to participate.

The participating schools were:

• Orchid Public School, Bhubaneswar
• Aryan Public School, Bhubaneswar
• Merry Bebs Play School, Bhubaneswar
• Kangaroo Kids, Bhubaneswar
• Xavier Play School, Bhubaneswar

147 Little Artists, Countless Colours

For children between 3 and 6 years, art is not simply about drawing within the lines. It is about imagination, curiosity, confidence, and the freedom to express what they see and feel.

The enthusiastic participation of 147 children beautifully demonstrated how a simple drawing activity can create excitement and bring children, parents, schools, and communities together.

Every artwork represented a unique perspective. Every colour added a new story. And every little participant contributed to making Paint and Win – 2026 a grand success.

Celebrating Our Top 5 Young Artists

To recognise outstanding participation and encourage the children to continue exploring their creative talents, five best-performing students were selected for special appreciation.

Each of the five winners received an Appreciation Cash Prize of ₹500/-.

The recognition was intended not only as a prize but also as a small encouragement for these young artists to keep drawing, imagining, learning, and creating.

More Than a Competition

Paint and Win – 2026 was not just about winning a prize. It was about giving young children an opportunity to participate, express themselves, and experience the joy of being part of something meaningful.
